| The Shop doll house is our most recent design, borrowing from the typically Australian double storied terrace house.
Apart from the fact that the Shop's extensive front window and right angled staircases gives more light and space, its corrugated roofing, bullnose verandahs and offset/central front doors are characteristic of the inner city terrace facades of the late nineteenth century.
By introducing independently opening upper and lower front walls (as well as the supported roof) we have sought to make the Shop fully accessible as well as emphasising the spaciousness of this compact building. |
